Gallery - Photography project
This project was a result of an idea between Johanna Pagels, a german photography association, and us. The projected goal was teaching some concepts about photography to kids in the community. We wanted to see the artistic expressions, how they pictured their surrounding environment, and the way they portrait their daily living as kids from the amazon rainforest. This project was a wonderful and rewarding experience.

Johanna Pagels (Germany) - Professional photographer - July-August 2008

Between July-August 2008, Johanna visited the Santa Clara II zona community. She brought around 50 Fuji disposable cameras to start the project. Cameras were delivered to the kids, and they had to take a daily picture about what they consider interesting for them. Although there were some misunderstandings, specially with the parents of them who wanted to use the cameras for other reasons apart of the project, the kids did it very well. Later all rolls were developed (thanking to Johanna again), and we selected the most interesting pics in order to magnify them later. We will planning to do an exhibition. More information about this project can be required here, or at Johanna's website.
