Between Octuber-November 2007, we got the visit of Carl and Johan, both came from Sweeden, but they were visiting Peru previously, and helped during the earthquake in Pisco, that same year. We went by boat to another community, around 30 minutes NE far away from Iquitos, downstream the Amazon river. Santa Clara II zona is the name of this community. People are very friendly, and some of them are cocama-cocamilla tribe descendants. They taught basic english, and, at the same time, gave them some tips about recycling inorganic waste. This was our first approach to this community where foreigners were received. Everything runs more than ok!! cool! Hope you like pics here.... ¡I will be very glad to receive your coments, and ideas!
